Deanna has worked with a wide variety of authorities and agencies in Belize, some of these interventions included working with and on behalf of the Belize Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Belize Tourism Industry Association, the Belize Trade and Investment Development Agency, the University of Belize, the U.S. Embassy Belmopan; Youth Business Trust Belize, Global Entrepreneurship Week and the EU/ACP Business Assistance Scheme.
Deanna is proud to have designed two youth focused projects that are innovative, interactive and rewarding. One of the projects promoted entrepreneurship and innovation in young Belizeans. Targeted at high schools students, this intervention encouraged the design and development of innovative products with income earning potential. The second was a project that utilized the “Mad City Money” simulation tool to teach budgeting and financial literacy to high school aged youths nationwide. This was executed in partnership with credit unions.
